A Waller-Bridge Too Far

Phoebe Waller-Bridge has talked down speculation that she's set to direct Bond 26. The 37-year-old actor and screenwriter helped write the script of Bond 25: No Time To Die.

"My mum sent me that rumour too", Phoebe said. 

Pointing out that the only thing she's directed is a music video, she joked: 

"So the obvious leap is James Bond".

If she was to get the gig, she'd be the first woman to helm a Bond film. Our powers of observation do us credit.
